Lewis & Graves achieved ISO 14001 environmental accreditation in 2009.

PAS 2060 certification

As a measure of Lewis & Graves's committment to the environment it achieved Carbon Neutral status in 2009. L&G offsets 100% of its carbon usage and meets the requirements of the official standard.

Environmental Agency

Lewis & Graves is committed to ensuring that all employees follow its environmental policy and adhere to best practice wherever reasonably practicable.

The company is registered with the Environmental Agency and abides by its waste disposal policy.

Contractors Health & Safety Certification (CHAS)

The awarding body issues a new certificate annually, after an in depth audit on randomly-selected sites and our health & safety policies, procedures and training to ensure we Lewis & Graves is complying with the legislation.

The Federation of Window Cleaners

This organisation sets the standards and Health & Safety parameters for window cleaning.

A copy of the FWC safety guidance handbook is issued to all window cleaning staff.
The information in the handbook forms part of the training régime for all Lewis & Graves’s window cleaners.

British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc)

Lewis & Graves is a corporate member of BICSc which demonstrates its active and material support to the Institute in its aims to raise environmental standards, through training and education.

BICSc COPC scheme (soon to be CPSS)

The BICSc Cleaning Operators Proficiency Certificate (COPC), soon to change its name to CPSS, the Cleaning Professionals Skills Suite, is a recognised national standard for the cleaning industry.

The Institute audits our training centre, paperwork and task assessments to ensure that we are meeting the institute standard for quality and health & safety on an annual basis.
