Our window cleaners are directly employed by Lewis & Graves.
Our training régime and task risk assessments are based on our experience and knowledge in this sector of the business and supported by the Federation of Window Cleaners and HSE Working from Heights regulations.
A copy of the Federation of Window Cleaners Safety Guidance hand book is issued to each window cleaner.
The choice of access equipment will be determined by:
- The height to be negotiated
- Site conditions
- Duration and extent of work
- Risk Assessments for the site
Copies of task risk assessments are kept on each window cleaner’s vehicle. The original site assessments will be checked before each clean takes place to ensure that site conditions are the same and no structural changes have been made to the building.
